Yes, in 2021, 76% of Global Majority leaders felt that their applications were being denied or underfunded due to racial bias.
What is the percentage of grants in the UK that go towards Global Majority-led organizations
In 2020-2021, only 11% of grants went to Global Majority-led organisations. They were smaller in size and shorter in length. In 2020, the Baobab Foundation found that, particularly for Black-led organisations, they only received 3% of their total requested funding.
